Chat Number 1 - Liz
Liz is the joint manager of our shop on Chelsea’s King’s Road and has been with us from the day we opened at No 227. She’s one of the tall ones, has enviable long legs, opts for a brisk walk in the mornings to reach the shop and never seems to stay still in life. We caught up with her in a rare free moment between a shift in the shop and a round on the golf course…
Liz, what’s your favourite thing about working at White Coco?
The staff of course! We are a sisterhood - we work really hard, laugh a lot and always have each other's backs - and the Christmas party is a highlight!
We asked Liz to put together her favourite casual look from the current collection:
I LOVE our denim Piper Jeans. They are incredibly flattering and unbelievably comfortable (hence why we sell loads every day!). I’d team them with a colourful Connie Jacket for a causal yet stylish look
Now create a party look for us:
I am loving the new faux fur gilets that have arrived at White Coco. They are so glamorous and look fab with a pair of sequined Lola Trousers and this great shimmering shirt, called Ophelia. You can't not have a good time in this ensemble!
Is there a piece of jewellery you go to every time?
Yes, the Philippa earrings. They lift everything
And how about shoes? There’s a great selection now in the London shop. Any favourites?
Yes, absolutely love the Date trainers - they are the most comfortable trainers I have ever worn
What was your first job, Liz?
In a photocopying shop (don't think they exist now...!)
What would you tell your 12 year old self if you could?
Learn a language or two, take risks and make sure your cup is half full, not empty, at all times.
What’s been your most embarrassing moment?
Playing tennis with Illie Nastase in a pro/am charity event and being so starstruck that I literally couldn't hit a ball!
What do Sundays look like for you?
Get up late, walk on Richmond Park, huge brunch, game of tennis/golf and then collapse and watch rubbish TV in evening.
Three things you couldn’t live without?
Chocolate, Richmond Park and my Angel mac lipstick,
Best piece of advice ever given to you?
Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.
What’s your favourite thing about Christmas?
Eating whatever I want, when I want, plus I love a Christmas carol service - oh and “Love Actually”.
Best Holiday destination?
It’s a cliche but love the Caribbean- sun, rum punches, beach - cant beat it!
Favourite place to eat in London?
River Café, always
Favourite destination outside London?
Trevose, Cornwall - golf, beach, rosé and hopefully no rain
Best beauty product you own?
Guerlain’s Midnight Secret - I swear by it - if you are sober enough to apply at the end of a 'big' night, you wake up looking completely normal!

And with that, she grabbed the largest bar of Dairy Milk you've EVER seen, her Angel mac lipstick and headed off for eighteen holes (deciding against playing in the sequined trousers at the last minute).
Keep tuned for our next chat with another White Coco girl in a couple of weeks.....
