Hazel has worked in our Hungerford shop for just over four years. She is clothes-crazy and loves nothing more than helping customers choose that perfect outfit. We caught up with her, removing icing sugar from her hair after a busy afternoon in her kitchen creating 48 iced pink cupcakes for a Hen Party…

What's your favourite thing about working at White Coco, Hazel?

I have always loved clothes shopping, so it feels more like a hobby than a job! Being surrounded by beautiful clothes all day is my idea of heaven 

What was your first job?

My first job was working as a Saturday girl in Marks and Spencer 

So, what do you like to do when you’re not working at White Coco?

I love to bake for friends and family - mainly celebration cakes

Name something that you are proud of

That both my daughters are excellent cooks

If you had the chance, what would you tell your 12 year old self?

That sweets are bad for your teeth!

Do you have a guilty pleasure ?

Watching Gavin & Stacey on repeat (the Christmas special being my favourite!)

Best piece of advice ever given to you?

Treat others as you'd like to be treated yourself

Edinburgh – It’s where I was born and brought up and all my family still live there

What’s your favourite time of year and why?

Definitely Autumn - I love Christmas and when we get to Autumn I love the anticipation of everything to come.

Do you have a favourite casual look from the current White Coco collection?

I live in my Piper Jeans – they are the best cut ever. In the current climate, I’m enjoying “prettying” them up with the Florence Shirt and for an extra layer of warmth, you cannot go wrong with the Eva Gilet

Favourite Holiday Destination? 

This is a tricky one but I think I'd have to say Canada. The best scenery, wildlife and food!

What’s the best beauty product you own?

Oh, that’s easy…Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream - definitely worth the hype!

OK, finally, is there a piece from the current collection that you’d go to for perhaps a Sunday Lunch with friends?

I love this “Sweet Pea” dress. She’s made from the softest needlecord which is perfect for right now. I’m currently wearing her with boots but as the weather warms up I will be teaming her with my Flatform Trainers that we sell in our Chelsea store (and excitingly, will be stocking in our NEW Hungerford store which will be opening next month!)
